ODA Announces New Member Portal and Website

The Open Design Alliance (ODA) announces the launch of its newly enhanced member portal and website at www.opendesign.com.

The new website delivers enhanced user experience and communication for the CAD community, ODA members, potential members, and the press. The CAD community and those interested in using DWG and DGN data can find details about the ODA, its mission, and related CAD topics discussed in white papers and press releases. Links to the latest press releases are available directly on the home page to also benefit the press. Potential members will find a comprehensive list of current ODA members and details about new membership, including membership applications.

The member portal is streamlined for accessing various member tools from one location. ODA members will benefit from easier navigation to released software library downloads, support forum access, and bug reporting and tracking.

ODA President Arnold van der Weide commented, “The revamping of opendesign.com and the upgrade to a new infrastructure will allow the ODA to further enhance the service and communication delivered to both our members and the CAD community. I am pleased with the benefits we are achieving with our increased investments in infrastructure and operations.”

The ODA is a non-profit organization that publishes the publicly available OpenDWG® standard, which documents the structure and technical content of DWG files. The ODA also uses member fees to support the development of the CAD technology that is used by over 3,000 software developers and end-users.
