Home » ODA Open Design Alliance Announces DWGdirect.NET Beta ReleaseODA Open Design Alliance Announces DWGdirect.NET Beta ReleasePhoenix, AZ, March 16, 2009 The ODA announces the beta release of DWGdirect.NET, the first ODA platform component built for use with the Microsoft® .NET framework DWGdirect.NET is a managed component that provides access to a rich subset of the ODA platform, including DWG data access, DWG file creation, and database support. Support for all database entities and system objects is included. Rendering support will be provided in a follow-up release in the coming months. DWGdirect.NET is suitable for a wide range of applications that work with DWG data, complementing existing ActiveX and cross-platform C++ support. Developers can now access the ODA platform using a wide variety of .NET-compatible programming languages, including C#, VB.NET, and J#. Software developers who are interested in employing DWGdirect.NET should attend the ODA World Conference April 27 – 29, 2009 in Leiden, The Netherlands where this platform will be extensively discussed.
